Some might say that there’s too much (faux) leather in this outfit… I say, never! I’m truly an ’80s wannabe anyway, so it works just fine for me. All four items in this outfit are absolute staples in my collection. A fake leather jacket, it works with everything and always looks cool. A simple grey t-shirt, SO versatile style-wise whatever you’re up to. The coated jeans are just badass, they’re not really in your face which makes them easy to wear. And of course, my beloved creepers. Some people think they’re the ugliest shoes in the world, but I love them. So cool, edgy and comfortable! Which is a total win in my book.
I have a lot of fashion influences, specifically Lua from Le Happy, and so many others. But I really feel like I’ve been coming into my own the last while. I love this element of minimal-esque styling I have going at the moment. Simple, plain pieces that work with everything and make styling a breeze. It’s why I always adore Acne Studios’ collections. Their Swedish minimalist vibe is actual style goals. Obsessed.
There are so many elements to this outfit, despite it being super simple. It’s alternative, ’80s, monochrome and minimal, all in one. And I love that. It’s what I’ve taken to to brand myself. Hopefully, it will take me really far one day. I never thought that my blog would have a specific niche, but I guess that’s it. And I love it. I don’t have to force it, it just feels like me. Which is so, so awesome. I’m slowly finding myself, one post at a time. Discovery is so exciting. I can’t wait to see what else I uncover!
