If there’s one thing I take true satisfaction from, it’s getting into bed at the end of a long day with a clean and moisturised face. I don’t know about anyone else, but I often find myself dreading taking my make-up off? As if it’s some huge effort to go through my whole skincare regime when instead, I just want to be cosy in bed. The struggles of a lazy girl. Well, those struggles are no more… Introducing the microfibre make-up remover pads by Cien, available in-store at Lidl!
Make-Up Remover Pads by Cien
These make-up remover pads make your evening skincare routine a breeze – all they require is water and voila! Your face is squeaky clean once again. I’m not going to lie, I wear matte foundation and waterproof mascara day-to-day, so I was skeptical. But I was left very impressed after use: most of that day’s make-up was no more! Disclaimer: the remains of my mascara were a little stubborn, but nothing a little cleansing balm or micellar water couldn’t fix. All in all, they make removing make-up less of a chore and I am here. For. It!
The Sustainable Aspect
And the most exciting part – these make-up remover pads are super sustainable! After use, simply pop them in the washing machine and they’ll be perfect again post-wash. I usually put them on a 60-degree wash to bring them up like new for the next use. Gone are the days of wasting money on make-up wipes and regular cotton pads, sustainability is here to stay! And with these bad boys, you don’t even need product. Perfect for travel or overnight stays, I’m summing them up with just one word: result! I picked up three packs so that rushing to have them washed for daily use isn’t an issue. Available in-store at Lidl, a pack of three make-up remover pads retails for around £2. PSST… They look like an exact dupe of these ones from Face Halo that retail for a much higher price! I picked mine up within the last month, but don’t wait around: I predict that they won’t be around for long!
